Ingredients
- 3Eggs
- 300 gMilk
- 150 gPlain Flour
- 150 gCaster Sugar
- 50 gSunflower Oil
- 3Apples
- 120 gRoughly Chopped Almonds
- 1 teaspoonBaking Powder
- 1 teaspoonVanilla Extract (or similar)
- Flaked Almonds and caster Sugar for Garnish
Preparation
1- Preheat the oven to 325°F/180°C; Line a 9 inch springform cake pan with parchment paper, set aside.
2- Peel the Apples, remove the seeds and cut them into small pieces, place them in a bowl with a few drops of lemon juice, in this way they will not become dark.
3- Roughly chop the Almonds using a food processor, you can also chop them by using chopping board and knife, set aside.
4- Put the Eggs, Caster Sugar and Sunflower Oil in a large bowl, mix the ingredients with a fork until gelatinous but smooth.
5- Pour the Plain Flour, Baking Powder and Vanilla Extract, keep mixing until well combined and smooth.
6- Add the milk slowly, stirring constantly, we should obtain a liquid but smooth cream.
7- Pour the Apples and the Almonds, mix again.
8- Pour the mixture into the cake pan, garnish the surface with a handful of Flaked Almonds and Caster Sugar.
9- Bake the Almond and Apple Creamy Cake for about 50 minutes or until golden brown.
