Flourless Almond Cake

Ingredients

  • 4Eggs
  • 150 gCaster Sugar
  • 80 gSunflower Oil
  • 200 gGround Almonds
  • Lemon Zest of a Lemon
  • Extra Almonds for Garnish

Preparation

  1. Flourless Almond Cake

    1- Line a from 7 to 10 inch springform cake pan with some parchment paper or grease it with cooking spray, set aside. Preheat the oven to 170°C/325°F.

  2. 2- Grind the Almonds using a food processor and grate the Lemon Zest, set aside.

  3. 3- Whip the Eggs and the Sugar in a large bowl util soft and whitish using a hand mixer at max speed for about 5 minutes.

  4. Flourless Almond Cake

    4- Add the Sunflower Oil and the Lemon Zest to the mixture, continue beating until well incorporated.

  5. 5- Add the Ground Almonds then mix again until well combined.

  6. 6- Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan then garnish with some Extra Almonds.

  7. Flourless Almond Cake

    7- Bake the Flourless Almond cake for about 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the cake comes out clean.
