Fluffy Chocolate Ricotta Cake

  • 3Eggs
  • 200 gCaster Sugar
  • 200 gPlain Flour
  • 250 gRicotta
  • 100 gChocolate Chips
  • 100 gSunflower Oil
  • 1 teaspoonBaking Powder
  • 1 teaspoonVanilla Extract (or similar)


  1. 1- Preheat the oven to 325°F/180°C; Line a 7 inch springform cake pan with parchment paper or grease it with cooking spray, set aside.

  2. 2- Put the Eggs, Ricotta, Sunflower Oil and Sugar in a large bowl, mix the ingredients until smooth,  you can use a spoon or a hand mixer.

  3. 3- Pour the Flour, Baking Powder and vanilla Extract, keep mixing until well combined.

  4. 4- Add the Chocolate Chips then mix again until well combined and smooth.

  5. 5- Pour the mixture into the cake pan, level with the back of a spoon or a spatula.

  6. 6- Bake the Fluffy Chocolate Ricotta Cake for about 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
