White Chocolate Ricotta Tart

The White Chocolate Ricotta Tart is a sweet and easy to make cake, perfect for every moment of the day, especially at breakfast, accompanied by a good cup of coffee. In order to prepare it, we will only use few bowls and few spoons, no electric tools, super easy. You can customize your own tart by adding some extra ingredients to the dough or to the filling, such as grated zest of an orange, a spoon of liquor or a tsp of cinnamon. Let’s see the recipe!

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 Egg
  • 150 gr Caster Sugar
  • 100 gr Sunflower Oil
  • The Juice of a Lemon
  • 350 gr Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

Filling

  • 250 gr Ricotta
  • 200 gr White Chocolate

Preparation

  1. White Chocolate Ricotta Tart

    1- Preheat the oven to 325°F/180°C; Line a from 7 to 9 inches springform cake pan or pie pan with parchment paper, set aside.

  2. 2- Melt White Chocolate in the microwave or in a sauce pan over medium heat, leave to cool.

  3. 3- Put the Egg, Caster Sugar, Sunflower Oil and Lemon Juice in a large bowl.

  4. White Chocolate Ricotta Tart

    4- Mix the ingredients with a spoon until smooth.

  5. 5- Add Plain Flour and Baking Powder, mix again until obtain a smooth dough.

  6. 6- Put Ricotta and White Chocolate in a medium size bowl, mix the ingredients until smooth and creamy by using a spoon.

  7. White Chocolate Ricotta Tart

    7- Line the pan with the dough by using the hands, pour the filling and level it with the back of a spoon, trim the edges of dough with a knife.

  8. 8- Bake the White Chocolate Ricotta Tart for about 40-45 minutes.
