Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 150 gr Caster Sugar
- 100 gr Sunflower Oil
- 200 gr Plain Flour
- 100 gr Ground Hazelnuts
- 100 gr Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Preparation
1- Preheat the oven to 325°F/180°C; Line a 9 inch springform cake pan with parchment paper, set aside.
2- Finely grind the Hazelnuts by using a food processor, set aside.
3- Put the Egg, Caster Sugar and Sunflower Oil in a large bowl.
4- Mix the ingredients with a spoon or a fork until gelatinous but smooth.
5- Add the Flour, Baking Powder, Vanilla Extract and Ground hazelnuts.
6- Keep mixing until obtain a smooth dough.
7- Add the Chocolate Chips, mix again until well combined.
8- Pour the mixture into the cake pan. Level the dough by pressing it with the hands along the whole cake pan surface.
9- Bake the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
