Ingredients
- 200 gEgg Whites
- 100 gSunflower Oil
- 150 gCaster Sugar
- 150 gPlain Flour
- 1 teaspoonBaking Powder
- The Grated Zest of 1 Lemon
Preparation
1- Preheat the oven to 325°F/180°C; Line a 7 inch springform cake pan with parchment paper grease it with cooking spray, set aside.
2- Whip the Egg whites until very stiff, in a large bowl using a hand mixer, set aside.
3- Put the Flour, Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Baking Powder and Lemon Zest a large bowl, mix the ingredients with a spoon, we should get a smooth dough.
4- Gradually add the Egg Whites to the dough stirring from bottom to the top, at the end we should get a smooth mixture.
5- Pour the mixture into the cake pan. Bake the Egg White Cake for about 40 minutes or until a skewed inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
